Kaleidoscope

Location

I have never liked my eyes,

they're simple, ordinary, and plain,

for they have seen too many goodbyes,

just like the thunder sees the rain,

my eyes act as windows,

to the things i don't want to see,

when i look into them everything flows,

and out come my memories,

but without my eyes i couldn't see,

what the world has to give,

i wouldn't see any beauty,

and without that i couldn't really live,

my eyes aren't windows they are doors,

i will close them to the past,

and forget about the befores,

my eyes are beautiful and they always have been,

all it took was a little looking within.
