Just Like The Sand
I remember you use to always tell me how much you wanted to go to the beach.
As I sit beside you, engulfed with this moment.
I am hearing the subtle ticks
of unmounted earth.
I am seeing the melodic patterns of erosion tapered under our feet.
As I sit beside you, I smelled the freckled grains once tangled,
In an immersed camouflage with your hair.
I tasted the sweet sunny days we had,
that were,
confined within an hourglass,
So even when an hour pass,
We will be infinitely confined with time.
Time,
Is of the Essence.
Just like the sand.
We will
at one point be,
Submersed into
Compacted dirt.
It's a dirty situation.
And quite frankly, I would much prefer the water.
I would rather swim in the enigma of oceans than
Dig myself out of A
six foot hole I didn't put myself into, losing my footing on the mud.
But since the beginning of mankind,
Aside from the inevitability of man and time,
Its expected that women can and will be
So unkind,
When dealing with the matters of their hair.
It's nay or nay. And I'm not talking about the dance.
But it's been for your own benefit i see.
The soil has nourished the roots of your soul,
And you've grown from the inside out.
The progress is remarkable.
God purposely intended for the seas
And the sand to be separate.
His greatest monuments of beauty have had longevity through the harshest circumstances and most in-climate weather.
I
am in the presence of diamonds.
And as the days elapse,
And the pressure of the ground increases,
You become more refined.
More polished.
More molded.
Just like the sand.
As I sit beside you,
With My toes and yours,
Interlocked in a matrimony of gritted seabeds,
I
Envision a fountain of youth.
That keeps in tact the
Soil beneath our feet.
The,
promises that we promise to reap.
The,
dishonesty that
Has been truncated
to an insignificant feet.
The bow to the woman I yearn to keep.
The vow to a love that we pray to reach.
Write your name in the dirt to where it all started,
Because
Your lessons will become blessings,
But you must remember how it began.
Never dwell to long, because we are not at the end.
You are constantly growing
and I am proud of you are becoming.
Let the foundation that was laid
Allow your roots to thrive with time,
To pulsate through the mounds
with purpose and passion.
YOU
ARE
AWESOME.
As I sit beside you, I am ultimately thrilled for what we had been through individually,
What we are going through together.
And what we will go through in the future.
As is i sit beside you,
I remember when I finally took you to the beach.
I am content,
With my surroundings.
Because I finally realized that
Time
is
Essence.
And this moment, no matter how short or long lived,
This moment right now,
Will be infinitely confined,
Within an hour glass,
So even when eternity pass,
We
will be
infinitely
Confined with time.
Just like the Sand.
