Just for me

Walked two miles and I asked just for one,

The One who never laughed when they teased to have fun,

He says to sit back, “I got this one.”

Said goodbye to sorrows for my joy has just begun.

Just for me He died so I might live,

Just for me he conquered so I would win,

See just for me He died and he took my sins,

And through His death I am one with Him.

And how He died for me,

He died for you too.

Not because He had to,

But just because He loved you,

He forgave what you did, and took care of what you might do;

Just for us He died - so we wouldn’t have to.
