Just A Girl

Just a girl.

Bittersweet, just the right combination.

They sold her lies...

But she constantly believed them.

What can I say?

She didn't know any better.

Just a girl.

16, about to be a mother.

Even though, he said he couldn't be a father.

But why does that matter?

18, here we go again.

She begging and pleading.

She can't go through that again.

She gave up one baby, just to keep a man.

Now here she is,21.

All alone in this world.

Working 2 jobs just to take care of her kid.

All those lies they sold her.

So sad she believed them

After all, just a girl.

Bittersweet, she wouldn't know any better.
