Just Friends

Just friends, you said.

Just friends we’ll always be huh.

“Friends” lay together at 2 am and talk about anything and everything.

“Friends” say they love each other so much and would do anything in the world to keep each other happy.

“Friends” that just can sit together in silence just because you love the feeling of them just being around.

But at the end of the day we are just friends right.

Let's talk about that new girl you're talking to, and as you talk about her you can see how it breaks every bit of me.

Or let’s talk about the way I feel when you hug me and I feel like I'm floating just because that’s how you’ve always made me feel.

Or let’s talk about how when I'm not around how your mom always asks about me and checks to see when I will be there again because she misses me.

But none of it means anything to you, because we are just friends right.
