Don't forget the burn

Every word spoken

The ones that hurt.

Don't forget the incredulous

The ones who don't believe.

Stay tough and prove to them

That YOU are strong

That they were wrong.

You might not belong,

But you were right all along.

 

Promise to live every moment

And smile despite the torment.

Life is good, and hard,

But only a fighter won't fall apart.

Step out of the shadows

Step into the light

Don't back down, this is your right.

You're just as good, just as strong.

Believe in yourself, nothing's wrong.

Be yourself, and be unique

This is what we are meant to be.
