judgement

Ya know that quiet boy

That gets bullied every day

Then you say you’re not at fault,

Because you had nothing to say

When a guy who’s got it made

Came up to make a joke

Demeaning someone’s worth

Trying his hardest to provoke

A feeling of superiority

to make himself feel tall

Not caring for a second

That he doesn’t know this kid at all

Those shoes y’all thought were ugly

Were the only pair he has

His mom’s at work right NOW

cause he’s got a sorry dad

So why you feel entitled is

way beyond my reach

You didn’t earn- not endowed-

you’re not some type of king

Here’s a thought; little lesson

How about keeping an open mind

ask a question- keep your mouth shut

And quit listening with your eyes
