The Jubilance of Life

Several souls around me -- some lost and some broken.

Drowing in thin air.

Their shirts drenched with the liquid courage that falls from their eyes.

Moving through the motions, blindly stumbling through time.

Falling into the man made trap that steals life before their eyes.

I'm screaming at you, in attempts to capture your attention.

Open your eyes!!

Time is fleeting and you are deprived of self awareness.

Life is but a vapor

It vanishes in the air so unrecognizably fast.

Happiness is a choice and it is your duty to exhort it.

Bust through the doors and sing an anthem.

With the deepest breath your lungs can absorb.

Make the blood pulse through your veins,

And cause your heart to burst from your chest.

I beg of you - pleading - from every fiber I contain.

Choose and experience jubilance, because you can.

Live in the world around you.
