Journey Into The Unknown

The blue deep color of the ocean
Seemed to be dancing away
With the sunset
As they went hand to hand
Away into the horizon
Greeting eachother kindly
With a gentle touch of a kiss
As if they are lovers that haven't
Seen eachother for quite awhile
I am lost in the middle of nowhere
Mind is starting to slip away
As every single last thought
Is dying from inside
Making me forget how life was
Long ago when I once walked
On land with my own
Bare feet
I am alone and lost
There is nothing to see
Rather than the deep water
That surrounds me
Laying down peacefully
Watching the sunset
Set for one last time
I miss my home
Wish I haven't gone away
Miss my family
I surely hope they don't forget
About me
Thus my life isn't over yet
Not today not tomorrow
I will return alive
Even if I take days
Drifting into the seven seas
Fighting against high currents
Though the sea has it tricks
Hidden secrets lurking from within
The blue deep color of the ocean
Seemed to be dancing away
With the sunset
As they went hand to hand
Away into the horizon
Greeting eachother kindly
With a gentle touch of a kiss
As if they are lovers that haven't
Seen eachother for quite awhile
Night after night
Day after day
I can't seem to fall asleep
Knowing what is in store
Days are becoming longer
Hours seem to tick on by
I cannot lose my balance
Can't keep up with the waves
But dead or alive
I must keep on searching for the light
Sailing towards the horizon
My home is waiting for me
Waiting for faithful return
Back to where I first began.
My journey into the unknown.
