Falling snow.

Staring straight up and feeling like I was on my way to a whole new destination.

That how The first few minutes of the next 365 days felt.

I only hope that was some sort of prelude to coming days.

Spinning in circles like I were wearing a sparkling dress.

I don't know about new year resolutions

Because every day  has a new purpose.

But maintaining the knowledge I walked into this year with is crucial.

Be kind.

Even when you don't want to, especially when you don't want to.

That's when kindness counts.

But appropriately.

Throw a fit, rant with your best friend. But hold it together when outside the walls of your bedroom.

Be aware of what everyone has to offer your life and appreciate it.

Be patient.

Not everyone thinks like you, loves like you, hurts like you.

Take your time but don't expect others to take the same amount of time.

It took 18 years but I finally started understanding myself.

And accepting the things that are different from the rest.

I believe in living your own life.

Those in your life live life with you, side by side.

I choose what hurts me, or how this will affect me.

I don't have to let the past bother me.

Even if I think it should.

I invest even when I don't realize it.

I have a lot of bad habits.

I like to organize as a sort of therapy.

Not as a way to keep clean.

Singing and dancing counts as a rant session.

I need Jesus. Even more than I realise.

I don't pray enough.

I need swallow my pride like a morning pill.

Print out pictures.

Physical copies.

And look at them.

Tangible interaction.

Things I can touch.

Call, Video chat, anything but texting.

Don't fear,

Coffee isn't always the answer

But it's a good start.

Being alone is okay,

But don't stay there.

The inside walls of my head are a beautiful place

But like all beautiful things, dangerous.

Let go when it's time, but don't forget the good times.

Spread love

Trust me, your hearts big enough.

Go when invited. But you don't have to.

You don't owe anyone anything.

No one owes you anything.

Read Romans Chapter 8 whenever you can.

Let out “Abba, father!’

When you just can't handle it anymore.

Write when you can't speak.

Sing when you can't write.

Push yourself for greatness especially when you feel doomed.

You have a pretty mouth,

Stop using it for ugliness.

You have lots of books about Jesus,

Read them.

Go the extra step for your kiddos,

They deserve it.

And don't you dare
