The Jade Bird's Song

Chirping together with singing,

I awaken to the act of being

Calling my name to begin the day.

Calling me away

From the past of yesterday.

While all my problems fade

I make a pass towards the sea of jade.

Igniting my eyes with power and strength,

Filling my eyes with the wonderment

That the same wavelength

My beautiful surroundings hath leant.

To learn is to watch and hear,

The beauty bestows my eye with a tear.

For I am alive today

And there is no way,

I could ever let that slip away.
