Ivory Tower

Soft October breeze

whips my hair and calls to me.

Sparkling lake shows its glamour

as droplets from the waterfall, splashes, and splatters.

My imagination holds no bounds

It pulls me up when  no one else is around

Forever locked up in my ivory tower

Inspiration may come at any hour.

Now replace the lake with a loving family

and dream that we were close as ever can be.

Maybe have a picnic by the shore?

Maybe imagine something a little bit more.

My imaginatin holds no bounds

who knows how many happy moments may be found

just around the corner

I will continue the search 'till I no longer

Take my breath; that is my final hour

But until then I am forever locked up in my ivory tower.
