I've Moved On

I treasured you; you're all that I knew at one point in time.
I gave you all of me and then some, down to my last dime.
Deep down inside I knew something was wrong. I still loved you, so I continued to hold on. Even though your love for me was long gone. One day I told myself "that's enough" and I realized that I've held on for way too long, I let you break me down and do me wrong. It's true I've never been perfect, but I've always been true to you; my love was never a lie. I'll pop out one day.. you'll see me happy with another guy. I'm gone now, I can live my life the way it should be without you controlling me. I've let go, so now I'm free.
