It's Really Me

Location

You look on social media

And what is it you see

It's filters here and there

But all I want you to see is me

I fall down and get up

I break sometimes I bend

But no one can see the real me

Through the pictures that I send

I smile in my pictures

But I still sometimes get sad

Not everyone will see that

Nor will they when I'm mad

You can try to fix yourself

In all different kinds of ways

Makeup, poses, filters,

And trying to find the perfect phrase

So take off all that makeup

Amaro, Mayfair? Don't use either

Look how beautiful you are

Just step back and take a breather

The most realistic person

That you could ever be

Is the person in the mirror

That's you, can't you see?
