It's Never To Late

Location

She was only 14,

When he had collapsed into her lap.

Eyes filled with terror,

Hands shaken cold.

As he tried to remove the-

Icy,

Cold,

Blade from his abdominal.

"Could this be my fate;

To die from the hands of another`s hate?"

He shrieked in anguish.

She was speechless.

Confused, how could she help him?

She couldn`t.

She watched him die,

but never again will she,

Remain helpless.

She later on went to college for her doctorate in nursing.

Helping others,

Proving that the only way to solve our problems is through hard work.

Living only for money and power is a waste,

She wanted to do more,

Be more.

It`s never to late.
