It's a Lifestyle

Holding my breath,
Pointing those toes,
Sometimes feeling death,
But who really knows.

I have passion in my heart,
That’s what sets me apart.
Although this is hard,
I don’t want to stop.

It’s my guilty addiction,
To an intangible object.
It’s a blend of dance,
With a hint of swim.

Don’t get me wrong,
This is not an easy sport.
Traveled all the way in Hong Kong,
Don’t need no court.

Training five hours a day,
Just as much homework.
As the average student.
Who is very prudent.

It’s a lifestyle,
But I don’t always smile.
Life is tough,
But that’s why I’m buff.

What is it called?
The name is,
Synchronized swimming.
You passed the pop quiz.
It’s my lifestyle,
And I love it.
