It's Just Music

Drown myself in music, blasting it loud

Because people put me in the backlight

Volume up so I don’t hear their sounds

Melody surrounding me with great might

Maximum volume to drain out voices

I’m paying no attention to the world

As they do to me by their own choices

Yet I can hear their call as it is purled

Why is it that I have been excluded

By people with no inference whenever?

Making me feel like I have been detached

Barricading me out like a blinder

All I wanted was for me to have friends

But I guess it’s just music in the end

csinphoune

This was just a quick little sonnet that explains what it was like for me when I was excluded from activities during my freshman year in high school.
