Invasion of the Weeds

Invasion of the Weeds

Through our eyes and our ears

And the tips of our fingers

They make their way inside of us

Burrowing into the sponges in our minds

Burying new seeds to be grown

In time

The beautiful garden,

Once thriving with prosperous life

Cries tears of acid

As the weeds invade with their mericless troops

Spreading their poison roots

Until the flowers have no room left to breathe

Suffocating them until they wither away

And their petals fall to the ground like corpses

Never to be seen again
