Inmaturity

1 Corinthians 3:2-3

I fed you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready.

In fact, you are still not ready, 3 for you are still influenced by the flesh.

For since there is still jealousy and dissension among you,

are you not influenced by the flesh and behaving like unregenerate people?

Pour out your heart and flood the room with your emotions

Truth gets often lost in the quantity of confession

Often this is not God but guilt and its devotion

That the flesh at any cost will integrate in aggression

You should be set free by now but you hunger for bondage

You were delivered long ago from sin in which you bathed

You matured surely too fast and lost your child-like faith

As you were delivered although you accepted this  in haste

Maturing in Christ Jesus is a growth of righteous hunger

Faith should stay child-like secured from far up yonder

Guided by the Spirit and held by the Almighty Creator

Who in love prepares you to be at peace now and later …
