indescribable

how lovely is a healing heart 

the remedy of compassion

as counterfit lies come apart

and guilt undermines new action

 

for grace asks for nothing in vain

such freedom sits misunderstood

in goodness love clings once again 

like the sweetness of childhood 

 

still this gift cleanses and restores 

no wordly gain suppresses it

but truth persistantly assures 

both in chaos and in quiet 

 

kept upon the cross are the eyes

of those called reedemed forever

every soul is welcomed inside 

lest any man not remember

 

all praise on earth shall be given

to He who lived in perfectness 

yet died as triumph over sin 

so that believers are now His
