increase the peace, stop the violence

Location

the tree that symbolizes peace is upside down

like a person's world that evolves around nothing else

but the lifestyle built on lies and misleads

succombing to lowest form by picking up

a gun and blowing somebody's head off

violence is the remedy to cowardice

we've forgotten how to embark dream adventures

that requires challenges in showcasing who we really are

as people

but instead

we get too comfortable in stagnating hot garbage

filthier than someone laughing at an innocent victim

how can anyone remain in touch

with community pathways

when kids glorify these cowards like gods more powerful

the almighty one high above the clouds

struggles is a part of reality

and so is dreams

dreams are part of each person's history, they say

if so, then we are indeed lost

dream comes true if you believe

never give up

persevere and withstand temptation

of getting involved to a life that when

the dust is settle and smoke is clear

everyone scatters like seward rats running

into narrow dirty holes and you will be left standed

wandering aimlessly like a tourist in 42nd street

taino predessesors honored the bones

of their ancestors

only bones a kid knows are the ones

he sees when we walks past a dead body

in which by the way has been laying there for years

and became a shield due to lousy aim by a wannabe

thug shooting at two guys who are gang rivals

instead of revering and taking ownership

in keeping the neighborhood safe

we worship ourselves and plunge head first

into the bottomless pit where the devil's

only jurisdiction is self-destruction

so what to do?

it's simple, but not that obvious

welcome back the old days

where the people take back the village and raise kids

to be young men and women

honor all without judgement

let's stop acting indifferent where nobody cares

whether or not , someone dies before their time

men, respect your fellow brothers, your women friends

for you do not know

low long they'll be around

violence has become an epidemic like crack in the 80's and early 90's

and above all else

keep clean before you give advice to the children

they know before you do

let's end the violence by increasing the peace

by starting off saying good morning and have a bless day
