Imperfect Existance

It’s amazing how time flies

And if you blink, the moment dies

You lose so many people in a year

It seems like everything just disappeared.

All your friends become strangers

All your secrets become endangered

Our perfect lives hanging by a thread

Our thoughts consumed by dread.

God has chosen our fate

We try to change, but it’s too late

The monster within us has already won

The damage it’s caused can’t be undone.

We watch as our lives flash before our eyes

Our perfect images shattered by lies

With all the ghosts from our pasts,

The perfect images will never last.
