Impacts of Growth

Sitting at the edge of the windowsill, sitting, waiting, wondering who I'll be.
Who would come here next to me, if I was grown and tall.
Who would I be after facing a few falls.
Striving, reaching upward.
Climbing the ladder of who I want to be. This is me.
This is my passion.
Dreaming of a world that I wouldn't clash in.
Finding a way to fix the earth, restore it's worth.
This is my story.
This isn't phony, this is my dream. One thing I could scream,
across the rooftops- making an impact, creating a new track... To travel.
A new machine to undo all the bad the world has seen.
A concept so new and adept to the surroundings, it's astounding.
Here I am.
Playing along to the tune, not of others, but one of my own.
When I'm grown,
I'll make a difference here, with my career.
I'll be an engineer.
And my dream. Along with the window sills and the excited chills, and the hopes of what I am to become.
Will make impacts of growth among the world. And among myself.
