Immortal

How many more painful times must I die?

Spear and katana piercing through my soul.

Though pained and drying tears I cannot cry.

From the start of time I have wished to fly,

Yet these wings of Icarus take its toll.

How many more painful times must I die?

Lower than low after wishing for high,

In burning flames I am but a charred coal.

Though pained and drying tears I cannot cry.

I’ve been through hell but for reward I’ll vie,

Shrouds of darkness swarm my mental state full.

How many more painful times must I die?

Infinite aching but I will still try,

An impending doom from walls of a hole.

Though pained and drying tears I cannot cry.

In life and in death I will never lie,

Through life and death I will be immortal.

How many more painful times must I die?

Though pained and drying tears I cannot cry.
