An immature apology

Location

SNAP. my head flies back

How did I get so far off track

It must be apologized, must be fixed

Her mind must be spinning with all my tricks

A jerk? no I've been an ass

An apology in bulk and mass

My friend, treated like trash

A tray filled with smoke and ash

Feelings hurt, friendships tattered

Did I not think that it mattered?

Her fate was mine to foster

This wasn't me, it must be an imposter

Cover my tracks

Envelope my hidden facts

She forgives me, I shed regret

It will take time before the mirror is met
