I'm the Teenage Girl With Nothing Else Left to Give

I am here for myself and the only one there for me

I’m the one who has a story to tell

I’m the one who wears a mask, not seen

I'm the teenage girl with nothing else left to give…..

I am here for myself and the only one there for me

I’m the one who sits and laughs, but in reality, doesn’t know what’s going on

I’m the one who has lies that cover up her truths, that goes on for miles

I'm the teenage girl with nothing else left to give…..

I am here for myself and the only one there for me

I’m the one who hides her sadness behind what you think is a genuine smile

I’m the one who does selfless actions but gets nothing in return

I'm the teenage girl with nothing else left to give…..

I am here for myself and the only one there for me

I’m the one who spends countless nights awake

I’m the one who cries herself to sleep

I'm the teenage girl with nothing else left to give…..

I am here for myself and the only one there for me

I’m the one who sits quietly in class, waiting for the bell to ring

I’m the one when I speak, you would think this mouth has a mind of its own

For all you know, I'm the teenage girl with nothing else left to give…..
