I'm Sorry

your smile slowly disappears

and your eyes lose their life

cuts and scars appear

so tempting was that knife

you were as bright as the sun

as pure as a lamb

but damage was soon to come

from a girl whom you should damn

she came and destroyed you

but you see it differently

and that view is so untrue

but you'll never agree

you say you love her

but how is that possible

a normal girl you'd prefer

she should be in a mental hospital

she's so fucked up

how could anyone love her

she left you corrupt

and oh so hurt

everyone knows she's sorry

but her apologies are useless

her eyes are glassy and teary

shes filled with hopelessness

she begs you to stay

and knows that you will

she also pushes you away

she'll always be afraid
