I'm Just a Dandelion Seed

Thu, 08/07/2014 - 18:51 -- sskans

A dandelion seed ripped from her stem

Circling with thoughts of where to begin

Just one seed, lone and small

How to feel significant in this world at all

Whisked away into the openness of not knowing what to expect

How does she know when to take the next step

Not knowing if it will be for better or for worse

It is a lesson now, that she must learn

Stuck with the questions, do or don't

Out in the open air, she can feel so alone

As the clouds begin to part on this gloomy day

The sun shines down to guide her way

The wind is now calm, her eyes can now see

Maybe it's not so bad to be free
