I'm a frog prince and frankly - I love it!

I'm a frog prince and frankly - I love it.

Everybody gets the story wrong,

I actually went to a witch and asked to be turned into this creature for life-long,

All women want is a crown and a pretty prince to call their own,

Along with doing things with bunches of gold that I would never condone,

But kissing a frog is one thing no "pretty princess" could simple ever do.

Now people go through lengths for money and I know that but let me just explain,

My mouth reeks of worms and flys while being as sticky as glue,

And my saliva itself is so murky and gross that it could leave a stain on a leather boot,

I honestly hope I never get turned back into a man,

The entire charade has been a pain since it began,

Me being born was like sand in an hourglass,

Soon all of it would sift down and fall to the bottom signifying the past.

My father - the king - had me in the stresses of war,

Seeing as though the chances of him dying sometime soon: he needed a son,

A son - an heir, that was more than he could have ever wished for,

But look at me!

I'm a brat that got so fed up with girls I went to a sorcerous with a plea,

To be turned into something as small as my former knee,

Look at that - a prince that's a self-centered mess,

Never thought that was a possible or common in the press?

You would be lying because I am one in a million,

Only special part about me is that I asked to be cursed into something resembling a crocodilian!

Something to be proud of?

No - but I make jokes instead of hitting myself with a boxing glove,

Although the emotional trauma seems to stay a bit longer than a simple concussion,

Alas, that is for an entirely different discussion!

My story is told and you have aquired it,

This is the story of a frog prince and frankly - I'm loving it.
