The Illusion of Freedom

How controlled
people drinking closed off behind orange barracades
Regulated
Their fun and the environment
they have it in are only as far as authority
allows them to.
Their freedom looks on the surface
celebratory but not like actual freedom
This is what leisure
look like in America
This what freedom looks like
through the inner eye
A skit rehearsed by the
Kiwanis club and Ladies flower club
The business community
And the officer who in their mind says
Behind the dark frame of their glasses
Yeah that's as far as it goes
