Love in denial

Truly pathetic indeed

Disobeying that, that is religion

That, which is faith,

Disobeying that, that is Allah’s will

All while dancing under

Veils of passionate secrecy

Cupid’s arrows penetrating their hearts

A bond stronger than chains

A love that defies time, space and logic

A love when in death,

Leaves only a jade necklace for no love to wear

Love in denial

Truly pathetic indeed

Sands shroud intimacy

But benevolent waves expose it

Love in denial,

Is foreseen by all,

Noted by all,

Cherished by all,

But no veil can hide Venus’s sight
