An Ill Reflection

Outside it is cold
Inside, it is little warmer
And I see a mold
Of myself in the corner
Window

I look at my face
I cannot see my eyes
In shadow, laced
By the hat that sits high
On my head

It is an ill reflection
It recalls my lack of me
Emptiness dwells there
A shield over the ignominy
That is my self
