I'll Help You Now

Tue, 10/24/2017 - 23:16 -- eberry

A light shone at the end of the tunnel.

Deep swirling mist begged for me to collapse,

But as I fell the mist turned to funnel,

A tornado which ran infinite laps.

A bad influence may hide in the nice,

A trojan horse drawing in its victims.

But he who gives in will pay a high price,

For the lie of the horse is what tricked him.

Healthy relationships help those in it

And leave them stronger than ever before.

The light in their eyes is a treat, not a trick.

The love in their heart comes straight from the core.

So choose friends wisely and remember how

“Because I love you” means I’ll help you now.
