If They Knew

Living life with a bag over my head so others won't judge

laughing to myself before the snort comes persistently,

for only if they knew who I really was.

Wearing my hair in my face to cover up my blemishes

keeping my utterance to myself only for my eccentric mind,

for only if they knew who I really was.

A makeup bag for an enhanced appearance:

just for the eyes of my crush,

for only if he knew who I was

Mask this person so I don't stand out too much,

when I really want them to know me,

but i'm stuck in a dark situation that I only know...

for only if they knew who I really was
