I wrote you a poem

I wrote you a poem, but you won't get to hear it

because I lost my voice crying while thinking of you.

I wrote you a poem, but you receive it

because you're no longer the one I wrote it to.

I wrote you a poem, but you get to see it

because my teardrops fell and ruined it.

I wrote you a poem, but you won't get to feel it

because you're no longer here.

I wrote you a poem, but you won't know about it

becuase it never existed.

I wrote you a poem, and I know you won't believe it

because this was the poem I wrote for you.

And you won't ever get to hear it.

And you won't receive it.

And you won't see it.

And you won't feel it.

And you won't believe it,

That all this time, as I was waiting,

I wrote you a poem.

This poem is about:
Our world
