I would give life to all the ghosts of what ifs.

This better world than only I can see,

The one where we do

Instead of the one where we think,

I would open a window for others to see into it

I would break the glass.

That world would wash upon this one,

Like water leaking from a useless dam,

And the word “cleanse” would come to mind.

Some would drown.

Some will swim.

And I will finally do something about it.
