I WILL STAY

Down set in the soil

Where I try to stay

With roots out down low

With bark which serves to protect

and leaves streched toward the sun

But a storm has set over the sun

Wind and lightning come to destory

And it succeds

My bark has been torn

I have no leaves but one

But the sun will reappear

Like love and life

I am barley alive

But alive I am

And thankful

The days will pass

I will heal

And again days will come with storms as such

But down set in the soil

I will stay
