I Will Be Heard

Something about this room

Holds a ghost of you

In the dark it makes me cringe

Causing me to check shadows

When you dwelled here

Your words where nine-tail whips

Every vowel cracked mid swing

Each strike filling me with terror

Back then I was affraid

Terrified to stand my ground

I was small and you were not

But I have grown much stronger now

The fear you gave to me

A gift I couldnt understand 'till now

I was weak and affraid

But I hated that fear so much

That it pushed me to grow strong

Mighty and stable as an oak

I am never a trembling leaf

I am never the hand that yields a whip

I am the Wind through the trees

And I will not be silenced
