As I was seated
As I was seated,
They came and grab me
The opportunity to be me
Why are you claiming to be me
While denying me to be me?
Leave me as me and get yourself off me
If I'm like a devil and a foe on your sight
And I bereave you the right to see the light
But if you could know that we're of the same soil,
You couldn't have separate me from this womb
Yeah, our mom's womb, 'Cause, we're one, from one womb
I owe you and you owe me; with a single tomb
Don't claim if am black and you're white,
brown, that you're not part of me
We posseses the similar structure with Him
Who created us and put us down below Him
The diety above us knew it
Though the satanism within us grab it
From our hearts and damp it
The blood we shed when we bleed
Depicts the same colour, red, never blue
The emotions within us tear and turn black
When we forgot our reason of existence
And just feel like no one above us due to our negligence
The language we speaks can't be our difference
If I deny you the right to live
I also deny myself the obligation to be alive
Cause your blood won't allow me live
Are you not sure of who you are?
You're Junubi, African, a world citizen,
Nuer, Dinka, all tribes in this Nation, universe
Is who you really are!
Describe yourself in full detail
And mark yourself the victim that can derail
Yourself from where you can sail
Make peace your full description and embrace togetherness
Since you're me and I'm you in protest
To impact the beauty of calmness
Inhumanity within us instill fear
To those who stipulate safety in a year
So that everyone smile and enjoy life with no tear
Let not rectify what God put in place
For our own desires and be of no grace
That wish to encourage and fuel menace
