I think I'm insane

I think I'm insane

when I hear the whispering

of hushed voices behind walls that aren't there

when i look down at my skin

and pick at every tear

I think I'm inSANE

when I scribbbble like a manic

And I scream and I scream

but there's no real reason to panic

I THink I ' m insane

when i stole a wallet, a phone

and I didn't need it at all

and then I ran from home

I thiNk I'm INsAne

when i simply kept running

and sprinting and weaving and screaming some more

and I got thorns in my feet, but fleetly. Kept running

I THINK IM INSANE

WHEN I HEAR THE BIRDS INSIDE

THEY'RE NOT REAL, NO I KNOW THIS

but I won't say. I can hear them. I've got too much pride

Ithinki'minsane

when the voices keep mumbling

and I'm STRAINING TO LISTEN

but there' nothing but rumbling

iTHINK I m insAne

when there has to be five

not four, not eighteen, not three-point-five meters

ThereHAS to be five.

I. Think. I'm insane.

because of all the repetition

repetition repetition repetition repetition repetition

There has to be five, repetition

I thinki '.     Mm inasne

because I get WEIRD looks

because I rock BACK AND FORTH IN REPETITION

Because I know that's all It took

to make me insane
