I stay

I stay

as the Sun reluctantly bends below my airspace and my brilliant Autumn sky is painted dark with whisky. I stay
as ominous shadowy clouds mirror my cold concrete realm and misty dew drops drizzle towards my gaze. I stay
regardless of clung frost griping my lashes, long to thaw and waiting to drip. I stay
my warm breath seduces my gaze
enticing dewy beads of mist
to softly trickle my cheek's way. Still, I stay
mesmerized, my stare carves through infinite expanding loops of ether, I elevate and navigate through thick weather
with wind woven wispy clouds canvassing my sky
shielding my oppressed moon
I stay.
