I really wonder why America's NOT GREAT

Is it the money that they give us just to take

Is it the food with GMO's that they claims not fake

Is it the poor neighborhoods that get shrouded in violence

Is it the secrets that the government's keeping in silence

Maybe the prisons that they built which overlook the schools

Or the colleges that deny and create the fools

Might just be the ignorance of an Idol that inspires a rival

Or the lack of knowledge being taught to instill survival

Is it really a question as to why America's NOT GREAT

When the schools and media are out to write your fate 

No values no morals just lessons and routines 

The people with such beauty with attitudes so mean

The air that we breathe every second that they just wont clean

The goal to replace hard working people with a man made machine

The nation that was built to drain you of your self esteem

You wonder why America's not great because its not a dream...
