I Know

I am more,

More than what they say I am,

More than what they think I can be.

I don’t care,

If anyone thinks I can do it,

If anyone thinks I’m worth it,

Or if anyone wants me to succeed.

After all,

I know,

Who I am,

What I’m worth,

And what I can do.

Perhaps a lonely path,

Self-sufficiency,

But I fear nothing.

I walk straight,

Into whatever the future may hold.

And I know,

That I will be just fine.
