I have this friend

Dear woman in the mirror,

I have this friend who smiles at me but other days she will cry or become angry when she sees me.

I have this friend who dances and sings with me but other days she yells and hits things.

I have this friend who will take pictures but other days she doesn’t even want to see me.

Dear woman in the mirror,

I have this friend who tells me I look great since losing weight, but other days she says I’m fat.

I have this friend who says that I am gorgeous, but other days she says that I’m ugly.

I have this friend who says that she loves me, but other days she screams out “I hate you”

Dear woman in the mirror,

I have this friend who likes to put on lotion, but other days she has new scars on her skin.

I have this friend who says that she is needed, but other days she says everyone would be better off without her.

I have this friend that says she is worth this life, but other days she says she just wants to die.

Dear woman in the mirror,

I am scared for this friend.

What if she leaves and never comes back?

Please tell me what to do.

Dear woman in the mirror,

I have this friend and she… she is you…
