The sun shines graciously above me

I am sure of it today will be a great day

As I walk through the door the scent of pine and Lilly

illuminate my nostrils

I have arrived

Selina greets me with her warming smile

She hands me favorite mug full of peppermint tea

Before she walks away she hands me a file

which of course details today’s tasks

I have arrived

I walk down the hallway third door to the right

I flip the lights on

Wow this room and full of purple items and bright

I hang up my jacket and purse and place my lab coat on

I take a brief look of myself in the mirror

I am ready

I am the epitome of a winner

I have arrived

I call to Selina to send in the first patient

Mother and daughter are happy to see me

I am giving the details of how the child fell on the pavement

Needless to say they are here due to allergic reaction from a killer bee

I write up her prescriptions and I give the child a hug and peppermint

Mother, child and I exchange smiles

It is clear I have arrived

I spent the rest of my day attending to several ill children

I am delighted to be focused on career

One of the first days where I did not have prescribe penicillin

I would rather spend me day doing this than being a cashier

The clock strikes seven

Selina and I finish the rest of our tasks

because it would not be good if I am late to pick up Devin

“Would you like to go out for dinner?” Selina asks.

I decline and we locked the doors

I glimpse at the sign while entering my car it reads:
