As I Grow

As I watch, a dragon breathes fire,

and the town crumbles in the wind.

A battle in the sky, forever gone on

but never won.

A child with a kite, with the breeze,

runs through a field, as the kite flew,

and the forest takes over,

forever lost in the infinite blue.

The ground may swallow me up,

upon this hill I sit,

forever watching the clouds,

until

as the years go by,

daydreams over,

and reality hits.
