I grew up

I grew up

I made it to see 18

and now its a goal to meet 21

i grew up in chicago where shots fired and inocents die one by one

im sacred

scared of these streets

because bullets have name people wearing 10k chains

my people always told me where they grew up was the same

do you walk in my shoes do feel my fear i grew up on the south side of chicago

where corner stores are filled up and bodys on the ground while mothers crying tears

i grew up by my lonely

i grew up with all hopes

i grew up with my mom and dad

but most of yall take me as a joke

taught my self how to survive

and to survive on this field

and 21 aint promise to see in a couple of years
