I Feel Good

When I look up at the stars

and see how they shine bright,

When I eat candy bars

and watch you fly a kite,

I feel good.

If I find the perfect dress

that is like no other,

If it relieves all my stress

and reminds me of my mother,

I feel good.

When I hear the best joke

and laugh so hard I cry,

When I drink an ice cold coke

and feel like I can fly,

I feel good.

If you say "I love you"

while we stand in the rain,

If a stranger replies "Bless you"

and your smile holds no pain,

I feel good:

Because in life a simple pleasure...

well, there is no measure.
