I Crave Touch

I crave touch

The warm presence of a hand on my back
Feeling light love with strong ropes that will never snap

A tight hug every now and then
Helps me remember that I belong with them

Gentle kisses on the lips, head, nose
There is nothing in the world that can replace those

I desire to feel this love
Sometimes it feels like I cannot get enough

Many do not understand
The comforting feeling of another's palm in your hand

There is one thing that I cannot live without
This feeling of love that physical touch brings about

I crave touch
