I was weak I was worthless.

I crawled my way out.

I scream hello world! I am here to stay.

18 years passed I am ready for you world.

I am smart not yet wise. only knowledge fills my eyes.

I am bold I am strong.

I can take on this world.

I will rise to the top. I will take my throne!

40 years and the view from the top is less than perfect.

It’s time for me to make my descent.

My mind is not what is used to be.

I crawl into bed. my eyes grow weary.

I think this bed will be the last thing i see.
